Paradisaea raggiana is a kind of medium-sized babbler
bird, of the genus Paradisaea. It has a length of 34 cm long, red-brown-gray,
yellow iris and feet grayish brown. Adult male birds have feathers colorful
decorations of red, orange and mixed color between red-orange on the side of
the stomach, dark emerald green throat, chest hair is dark brown and the tail
there are two long black cord. Female birds are smaller than males, with a
brown face and had no fur trimmings.
Bird of Paradise has a dense forest habitat is generally
in the low-lying areas. Bird of paradise can be found on several islands in
eastern Indonesia such as Maluku and Papua. It can also be found in Papua New
Guinea and East Australian. Regional distribution of Paradise Raggiana found in
tropical rain forests, lowland forests, rolling hills and mountains of the
south island of New Guinea, from sea level to an altitude of 1,500 meters.
Size

(Cicinnurus regius), up to a size of 110 cm of Paradise Part Sabit Black
(Epimachus albertisi) or weighing up to 430 grams as in Paradise Manukod Jambul-rolled
(Manucodia comrii).
The beauty of the male bird of paradise feathers used to
attract the opposite sex. To woo females invited to be willing to mate, males
will show off their feathers by performing dances beautifully. After
copulation, males leave the females and started looking for another partner. Female
